Meet "EDEN". Eden is in training for work in Search and Rescue . Born Dec. 15, 2017, she is a treasure.

Eden is absolutely as smart as she looks! She is a pistol and a spitfire and a complete joy to train and work with.
Beginning 46 years ago, my father, Robert S. "Bob" Lewis began his search for a premier sporting dog. In the lakelands of Michigan, Mr Lewis sought to find a dog that had intelligence, drive, beauty and heart. Mr. Lewis always had an attraction to the unique. He bred, raised, showed and participated in performance events with Arabian horses for over 50 years. To solve his extreme desire to find the perfect canine companion and hunting dog, his search led him to the Flat-Coated Retriever.
Bob Lewis was an avid hunter, at one time holding licenses in seven states. The family's Centennial farm in Howell, Michigan provided opportunities galore for a bird dog. Pheasant were Mr. Lewis's bird of choice to hunt and the Flat-Coat was the perfect fit. Geese and duck were also in abundance and he and his hunting companions rarely missed a day to be in the field during the season.
